Welcome to Joining Hands Ministry. We can help you with the wedding of your dreams, ceremonies for every religion. We offer simple ceremonies, to the more elaborate. When ceremonies are customized, after the wedding, the book with your ceremony is given to you as a keepsake. Non-denominational....we can do almost ANY religion you need us to. (While we would like to be able to service those who are hearing impaired, the only way we can do this is if they have their own translator. Rev. Allen is partially deaf himself but doesn't sign, at least not yet.)Rev. Allen D. Benge D.D. is the officiant and has performed many ceremonies, both in Arizona and Washington. We've chosen to make Washington our home as the Arizona desert was too harsh on his health. We are both much happier and healthier living where things are actually green! We specialize in outdoor weddings, and in home type weddings. You furnish the place, we'll furnish the ceremony. Rehearsals for larger weddings highly recommended...we've done a couple with no rehearsal and while the end result was the same (the bride and groom saying "I do") the ceremony itself was a comedy of errors. We've had mis-qued music, children disrupting the service, a neighbor's cat walking across the table with the unity candle....but in all....the bride and groom were able to laugh about it later. Please call or email for prices and details...the Wedding Season is almost over, but Fall and Winter weddings are still beautiful, make sure you have someone available to do the ceremony! We prefer to stay in the Olympia/Tumwater/Lacey area and not go out of town, we have other obligations here at home and can't travel far.Our best wedding ever was here in Washington in 1998 when Rev. Benge was able to officate at our son's wedding. The bride was glowing (and still is) and they have (finally) expanded their family of two into a delightful family of three! Our grand-daughter is soon to be two years old...and she has the most awesome parents! Eventually,we plan to build our wedding ministry into a full-fledged, full featured church, and wedding chapel...and hopefully reception hall.Just a note on what's happening here, we are leaving Olympia and going to the Centralia/Chehalis area. So we'll be available for weddings down there.
