This is an awesome boutique! A great selection of dresses and great quality. I was impressed that they didn't try to push their higher-end designer dresses, but rather kept my choices within my price range. Marissa was our consultant and she was fantastic! Can't say enough good things about her. She's very professional but also very fun to work with. Highly recommend this boutique!

The consultant who helped me was Gail. She was amazing, very caring, and have me her true opinion. They are very professional. Although the gowns are on the expensive side, they carry designer gowns that other stores do not and it is varied. I had to make many modifications to the dress and Ashley, Gail, and Christine make my perfect dress possible.

Loved, loved, loved working with Kellie and the rest of the Princess Bride crew! They truly do make you feel like a princess. I first found them at Seattle Wedding Expo and even though the event was closing in about 10 minutes they still let me try on dresses. I found "the one" there but went back to the store a couple weeks later to make sure. It was. They have a great selection of dresses in all prices so I was actually a little bummed I found my dress so quickly! They were accommodating and friendly to every friend I brought in there. (I've actually heard of some salons getting upset if you bring more than 2 people with you. I had 4.) They were constantly in contact with me, letting me every stage we were in with the dress ordering process. I only needed one fitting because the alterations were done perfectly. The dress really was a stand out. I never felt so wonderful in all my life.I highly recommend A Princess Bride. And Kellie is really great to work with. She has wonderful taste and "gets" you. She knew my dress was "my dress" even before my friends did. Too bad you only get to shop for wedding dresses (hopefully) once in a lifetime.

I know there are a lot of mixed reviews about Princess Bride. When I first walked into the shop, I was greeted with tacky prom dresses in outrageous colors. Then my consultant showed up in fishnet stockings and black leather booty shorts. I thought "this is so not where I'll find my wedding dress!" But, she led me to the bridal section and it was filled with so many beautiful dresses! She gave us a tour of what type of dresses were where and then let us pick as many dresses as we wanted to try on. We also got to take photos in the dresses, which was fab as I was able to text it to my mom in Hawaii to get her input. The downside to the experience is that they are very difficult to get a hold of. Once my dress came, they had me make an appointment for a "finishing touch" appointment where I was supposed to look at accessories. When I got there, they had forgotten about me and had a receptionist try to help me. I had to try to zip it up myself and no one really helped me. Then when I tried to leave with the dress (after paying the balance) they wouldn't let me. They said I had to leave it for my alterations appointments that would happen many months later. But, the seamstress wasn't available to talk with me to even see what alterations would entail. So, a few weeks later, I stopped by to pick up my dress, explaining that I needed it to make my veil. They had me make an alterations appointment (that I canceled later).

They were respectful of my budget, helpful, and very flexible given I was living in London and only had a short time for alterations.

My experience at A Princess Bride Couture was amazing. It was the first shop I went to, and I did shop around by trying other stores just to make sure I was going to the right place, and I was! Every other store I visited was rude and wouldn't even give me the time of day, especially when I told them my budget. But Princess Bride Couture was welcoming, warm and so super friendly! Ashley, my consultant, who was fairly new to the shop, made my experience the best ever!!!! I would take anyone there that is looking for a dress, as it simply was the best experience I have ever had shopping for any sort of attire! Ashley helped me with my accessories, but never pressured me to buy any of them from her. Let me feel comfortable to look elsewhere to find the best deal. I ended up buying my vail and the flower for my hair at Princess Bride, but all other accessories (shoes, jewelry, undergarments) I bought elsewhere. It all came together perfectly and that was because of the great service I received and the beautiful gown I got to wear on the most special day of my life! Thank you Ashley and Princess Bride Couture!!!!

Do yourself a favor and stay away! First, if you ask the owner about bad reviews, she says they are made by other shop owners.... I am not another owner, just a disgruntled bride that has had to wait 5+ months to write a review until I had calmed down enough. Bullet point highlights:-The alterations were so poorly done, the strap of my dress broke-I found a pin that had been left in my dress... When I stabbed myself with it leaving a blood stain right in front-My mother ordered a dress, which three months longer than it was supposed to, and the jacket was incorrect (the owner said my mother was lying). They made a new one, which was best described by when my now husband saw it said "wow, that looks like a cheap Halloween costume"-Owner told me my dress was silk, turns out it wasnt-Horrible scheduling, I had to take off work for all of me alterations apps because they don't schedule around someone who worksThere is more, but I think you get the picture!

Stunning dresses and great to work with. I purchased my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dress from A Princess Bride and received the highest compliments on all of them. They were so nice and accomodating - I recommend this as a first stop to find your gowns. You will love them!

I got a BEAUTIFUL dress from the collection, Blue by Enzoani, it was gorgeous! Took a long time for the dress to come in, ordered in March received in end of June. They were really nice and dress was reasonably priced. Alterations were really over priced, so I took the dress elsewhere for alterations.

We purchased my daughters wedding dress here. BEWARE, She found the perfect dress. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, that's the only good part. Was had $400 in alterations, hemming, neckline, fitting. When they hemmed the dress, they forgot to hem the fabric underneath. When my daughter said she was stepping on something, the alteration lady told her she wasn't walking right in the dress. We took it home and found that the fabric underneath was about two inches longer that the rest of the dress. We had to take it back and it took them a couple of days to fix it. The sheer outer layer of the dress, with all the beading, was never attached to the rest of the dress, so it didn't bustle. The sheer fabric trailed the dress the entire evening at the reception. It got stepped on and ripped. We had tried saftey pins but it didn't work well. The neckline was changed to a sweeheart neckline. This was botched!! During our fitting, the alterations lady kept messing with the neckline. Well, at the wedding we found out why. The seam on the sweeheart neckline was about 1/4 inch below the top of the dress. And it wasn't evenly 1/4 across the top. All my daughters close-up pictures have this seam about a 1/4 inch down from the front of her dress. After the wedding I took the dress back for repair. I just wanted the rips fixed and the neckline fixed. I started working with Gail, but soon she was never available to help me. They repaired some to the rips to the front of the dress but when I asked the alterations lady about the rest of it, she told me I could have it fixed whenever I took it to be cleaned. (?) The neckline hadn't been touched so I asked about that. She ripped out one and one half of the bra cups she had sewn in and told be that was the problem. I reminded her that it was on her recommendation that we put these in. She just shrugged. The outer fabric was attached to the rest of the dress (so it would bustle) but they added two beads on either side of the zipper. It looks bad. The sales staff was very rude and when I left with the dress, I called the owner, Kathy, a couple of days later. I called and left messages two more times. She never responded. If you absolutely need to purchase a dress here, know they will not stand behind the dress and certainly don't get your alterations done here!

I purchased my dress off the rack at the Seattle Wedding Show. I got a great bargain on a gorgeous dress and a free veil, though the flip side of buying a dress off the rack was the cost of alterations. The sales lady was very helpful at the wedding show, but a follow up question that I emailed to the store did not get a response. I did not use the shop for alterations, as I already knew a tailor.

A Princess Bride was great to work with for my wedding dress! I found my dream dress there, AND it was 10% off. The employees were helpful, my fittings went great, and the alterations were perfect. They do only take appointments, but it is pretty easy to make one that fits your schedule.

Although I found the dress that brought me tears of joy, the ladies who work here can be a little sour and sassy. Not the best customer service as far as politeness goes, but they were very responsive and able to get my dress/accessories ordered and altered on time. If you don't mind people being moody in order to get what you want then come here otherwise shop somewhere else.

Okay fellow brides. I know you see the reviews and think "it's okay... those other women are just hard to please" and besides they are the only bridal salon that carries the dress of your dreams. Stop!!! Seriously...I mean it! Princess bride will turn that dress of your dreams into your biggest nightmare.Day one...shopping: I went with my mother, sister and father dress shopping. I knew I wanted a Pronovias. The process of trying on the dresses was great and emotional. That emotion was exploited to the nth degree. I FELL IN LOVE with my dress...and was talked into getting a slip (which I gave to my cousin since I hated it), an ill fitting bustier (a size A when I am a C and gives my slim build actual back fat...more on that later), an UGLY flower for my hair, a feather for my hair, a birdcage veil, shoes and a sash (which I do love). The total I spent is DISGUSTING. I ended up purchasing twice of what I meant to spend just on accessories.First fitting: As I am standing getting my dress altered the ower pulls one of the sales girls to the corner and tells her "Never wear that again. You look totally unprofessional." I was thinking the one being unprofessional is that owner. I fell in love with a broken necklace...she promised to fix it...telling me she sets stones. SHE HOT GLUED A CHEAP RHINESTONE TO MY WEDDING NECKLACE!Final fitting: I am trying my dress on two weeks before the wedding and noticed a man in the shop. He started talking to me telling my dress is beautiful. I just want to be left alone. The owner of the shop introduces him as the owner of the tux shop next door and says that he could press my dress. He asks for me to take out the bustle to "see if he should press it." I informed him I would notify him should I need it and left him standing there as I meandered around the shop. It was so rude...he charges $100 on TOP of the $500 I spent getting it altered to get it pressed. I left with a very bad taste in my mouth. As for my Pronovias....I still love her =).

I found the PERFECT dress at Princess bride. When I went to look for dresses, the consultant knew instantly what would be best for me. Unfortunately that same consultant was not there when I went back for my fitting, but we were still provided good service. They have a wonderful selection of dresses.

All I can say good about this company is that I loved my dress in the end and a lot of that may have been due to the great alterations at Fashion Fittings in Fircrest, WA. Every promise that Princess Bride Salon made was a lie and I had to fight to get my dress but the delivery was months after the promise date. I think that since they already had had my money they did not want to provide service any longer.

I found my dress at the Seattle Bridal show and knew it was the one. They did take it back to their business to clean the dress. They were pushy to buy other items and the bridesmaid dresses with them. When I went to pick up my dress they forgot I had an appointment and really did not care about helping me out since the dress was already paid for. I later found the same dress online for hundreds less.
