Alison and Chris are the best team out there. Alison is meticulous about details which helps out when a bride is thinking about her family and other details. I loved this about the team, since I was always forgetting something. She kept me on top of my schedule, and handled everything with all the vendors. Alison is amazing and throughout the wedding, she was never frustrated. Chris, delivers the DJ service and is just TOP NOTCH! I can only say the greatest things about this team since they made my wedding the best I could've imagined. Alison helped me through all the steps and Chris timed everything perfectly. They are the best wedding planning team in town! Nothing is too small or too big for these two! They even created a photo booth (hand made the backdrop) as a surprise for our wedding. I loved this feature since regular photobooths are so $$ and too plain. Alison and Chris are amazing people as well as amazing wedding planners! i'd give them 10 stars if i could!

Alison is absolutely and completely amazing. She was the best possible person to work with for my wedding, and I can't recommend her highly enough. She went above and beyond every step of the way, and on the day of the wedding, she made sure everything went PERFECTLY. Seriously, everyone told me to expect a bunch of things to go wrong, but honestly I didn't notice anything at all! Alison is so intelligent, organized, and delightful - she is a perfect wedding coordinator and anyone who hires her is both smart and lucky :-) I really can't say enough fabulous things about her.

Alison was my day-of wedding planner. She was amazing! She is sweet, easy-going, and easily tunes in to the type of wedding you may be wanting to create. She has excellent suggestions and ideas for all kinds of things. I think I used every single one she offered. She is highly organized and professional. She was flexible when scheduling meetings. She made sure all of my wedding prep tasks were done on time-which was a huge help. She also made sure our big day went perfectly. Her husband, Chris was her assistant on our day and the two of them together helped make our day exactly as we had hoped. There is no way our wedding would have been as great as it was without Alison Lum Events. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Hire them!! You won't regret it!!

Alison was our day of wedding planner and I cannot put into words how great it was to work with her. She went above and beyond in every way. She is so nice, personable, and yet really professional. My husband and I both felt like she did an amazing job of keeping us on top of our planning while not making us feel guilty or pressured if we fell behind. She had the most extensive check list and would ask us if we had checked off certain tasks throughout the planning process. Stuff I would never had thought of. On the wedding day, everything went so smoothly and everything was perfect timing! She was very accessible to both our guests and my husband and I. Alison gets my strongest vote of confidence and I wish her the best in developing her career!

Alison is absolutely amazing. We secured her as day-of wedding planner, and she was absolutely essential in contacting all of my vendors, checking and double checking all of the times and dates. She coordinated my entire wedding party's travel on the ferry from Seattle to Bremerton while keeping me and my husband from seeing each other. I cannot recommend her enough, and I got not only an amazing wedding out of the deal, but also a great friend. Her efficiency is unmatched, and her kindness and understanding can't be beat.

Alison was invaluable on our wedding day. She handled unexpected surprises such as last minute requests from vendors, found key people who were missing, and made sure the schedule of events were running on time. We had a big wedding. 500+ people. Alison was our point person, and she was calm and composed throughout the whole day.

Due to Alison's careful planning, organization, and professionalism, I was able to enjoy my wedding day without a care in the world. She took care of everything in exactly the way I'd wanted. All vendors went through her to get set up, and any last minute stressful situations were taken care of by her without my mom and I even knowing they were going on. I can definitely say that my decision to have Alison manage the wedding had a direct impact on my enjoyment and ultimately the success of the day. No detail was forgotten! Working with Alison was one of the best and most important decisions I made in my wedding planning.

I can't say enough good things about working with Alison. She has the best demeanor and is incredibly organized and easy to work with. She absolutely loves weddings and is just a joy. She knows all the ins and outs of what it takes to put on a hugely successful wedding (especially on Bainbridge Island!). Alison also has great contacts. I went with the vendors she recommended for a florist, photographer, DJ, rental company, etc. and everyone was fabulous to work with and turned out a great product. And the price was right- they were better prices than I was able to find, but exceptional quality. Truly amazing. Alison has the best kept secrets in the Seattle area! Alison was also a godsend the day of. On our wedding day, Alison handled everything, so my mom and bridesmaids and I could just enjoy the day without worrying about any of the details. She helped me get to the point where everything was delegated and she and the vendors each had lists of exactly what to do when, and she just quietly made it all happen. I don't know what we would have done without her. Alison is exactly the person you want to help make your big day a success!
