Antheia Ballroom

The Antheia Ballroom is a beautiful place to get married in! The venue has lots of character and creates an intimate atmosphere. The bridal suite is very comfortable and spacious, and I know my husband and his groomsmen really enjoyed having a groom suite to get ready in (and watch TV!). Marcus and Erica are great to work with and our overall experience with them was fantastic. They are very competively priced and an excellent value, whether you are looking to have both your ceremony and reception here or just a reception. Everything ran very smoothly and they were easy to deal with and very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be recommending the Antheia Ballroom to all our friends and family.

Overall The Anethia Ballroom was a wonderful venue. I received lots of compliments on how great everything looked and how nice the staff was during the wedding. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride on budget or even if you're not on a budget they really are a wonderful little venue. The owners are very friendly and the venue manager really knows her stuff when it comes to wedding coordination. My glass was never empty, she always knew where my shoes where and she kept the wedding moving very smoothly. However, I gave the star rating a did because of a few reason non of which where deal breakers but, think they are things they should work on. E-mail response time from the owner was normally very quick, however I was a little disappointed in how long it would take the coordinator to get back to me. Sometimes it was quick, a day, and sometimes it would be 2 or 3 days. I understand she was probably very busy but, when you are planning a wedding somethings can not wait for a 2 day response. Also, it's the little things that matter like providing the ice for the kegs and cold drinks. Granted it's cheap but on your wedding day the last thing you want to do is worry about getting ice and if the venue provided that service it would be one less thing to worry about. Or providing your own trash bags. Yes, I can bring my own and that is simple but in my mind it's the little things that will set you apart in the end and the little things brides will remember most or at least I did. Lastly, I think a little work on packing things up would be good. My flower vase's were packed with my wedding book and water spilled on it which ruined some of the signatures and things just seemed like they where thrown into boxes. Now, I'm not 100% sure if this was all Antheia or a little bit of both my family and them but, according to my mom, Antheia packed everything up and my family loaded it into the vehicles. While, I understand they are in a hurry to get you out taking a few seconds to pack things neatly and emptying out the water from the vase's is part of the little things I mentioned. I hope this review is found to be helpful and not negative. Cause if I were to do it all over again i would still pick this venue because it really is a gem within a historic town.

The Antheia Ballroom is a beautiful venue and wonderful place for a wedding/reception. Because our group was relatively small we had plenty of room to move about. Having the schoolhouse in the back is an added bonus as it can be used to hold a buffet lunch/dinner and keep the reception moving smoothly.

Amazing value, owners are super helpful and informative. They really helped me make my special day my own! The venue is spectacular if you are having 120 guests or less. I can not say enough good things about The Antheia Ballroom!!

The Antheia Ballroom cannot be beat! The price is so low and can fit into any budget, but the service and experience you get will make it feel like you spent a ton! Everthing you need is at your fingertips and it is a gorgeous venue for an intimate wedding

I am so lucky I found The Antheia Ballroom! It was perfect for our wedding! The ballroom is so charming I didn't have to do much with decorations! The owners did a fabulous job fixing up this place and creating a romantic venue for events! I definitely reccomend this location to anyone having a wedding with about 120 guests or less! All of our pictures turned out great because the lighting an ambiance of the room is magical!

We loved the Antheia Ballroom! Erica and Marcus were so great to work with, both professional and touching. They gave us amazing advice on how to conduct our ceremony as well as ideas for a timeline for the day that ran to near perfection! We can't thank you enough for helping to make the day one of the best days of our lives!
