CN Wedding Photography

I cannot say enough about how fantastic it was to have Curt as a part of our wedding day! He has a fun, easy-going personality so I felt immediately comfortable with him and was able to just relax and enjoy taking photos. He gave helpful suggestions to make our posed photos go quickly, let us have a lot of input in what photos were important to us, and even helped the groomsmen fold their pocket squares :) He was prompt and stuck by our sides throughout the reception to make sure he captured every important moment. Perhaps even more impressive, though, was how Curt helped us keep things moving smoothly and made our wedding itself perfect. Having worked at so many other weddings, he knew exactly how things should go and gave us advice and encouragement, made us delegate instead of trying to organize things ourselves, and generally acted as an informal event coordinator! The photos were available to view online the morning after the wedding and the proof book was ready about a week later. Our photos turned out beautifully and I feel like we were able to order all the prints we wanted within our budget – can’t wait to see the custom album he’ll be sending us!! Though the pros FAR outweigh the cons, there were a few things I wasn’t 100% thrilled with. Curt didn’t always respond to emails so I would need to follow up with a call to make sure we were on the same page with planning or ordering, and since he was following the bride and groom so closely there were a few photo-ops that he missed, such as the wedding party sneaking away to decorate our car. We also forgot to get a close-up of our rings, which makes me sad because it’s difficult to get a good, clear picture of details like that with my own little camera! This is an easy fix though, as you can just ask Curt beforehand to make sure he captures these types of shots, and overall he did an incredible job of documenting our wedding and creating images we will really treasure!

Curt has done 3 weddings in our family. The photographs are wonderful. Even more amazing are the beautiful albums he put together for us. Our last wedding had several outdoor locations in the mountains with variable lighting - and the pics still came out beautifully. And, he is a fun guy and easy to have around at the wedding. I would highly recommend him.
