If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would! Tim deserves tons of stars and thanks. He did an amazing job! Not only was he a fantastic DJ but he was super involved in the whole wedding planning process and was interested in all aspects of the wedding; we didn't have a wedding planner so it was much needed! He is such a nice guy and a pleasure to work with, I'm so glad he had our date free :)He also has fanastic lighting! His up-lights transformed the room and make it so pretty!Thanks so much Tim!

Tim was absolutely fantastic!! We wanted a wedding that was personal and represented who we were and Tim helped us out so much in achieving that! We forgot to tell him what to play for our reception introduction song and played the UW fight song...perfect for the two of us! Tim was very professional, very flexible with the personal touches we wanted and was very quick to get back to us during the planning phase. Tim will make the day fun and run smoothly!

All I can say is absolutely amazing job, Tim! The room was AWESOME. Tim wasn't only our DJ, but he also helped plan and coordinate the reception on the plan. He is so helpful and easy to contact. Music was great, Lighting was incredible. Thank you so much

Tim was better than I ever could have hoped for!! He was extremely professional and personable. He listened to what we wanted and had a great understanding of our musical style. He made our Wedding day so much easier. When we didn't know what to do he guided as along and made us feel at ease. All of my guests loved him and commented on how smooth the ceremony and reception went. I can't wait to have another big party so I can use him again!

Great DJ! Its a little hard to put in a small paragraph how important he was in making our wedding day sane and how appreciative I am of it. After a long and stressful time trying to find a DJ to also act as a master of ceremonies I almost gave up and was going to settle on a DJ that I didn't really like but then I found Tim here on wedding wire. He made sure my wedding ran smoothly, played great music, he would check up on my husband and I during the wedding to make sure we were ok and even helped me plan how we should set up the space. Tim was always helpful on any questions I had, he even suggested some vendors he knew which was so helpful since like many brides-to-be I didn't know where to start. Tim is awesome... he was our DJ and MC for our day, and helped us out every step of the way. As a DJ he was perfect. The music he played throughout the day (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception) was great. And the music he played during the reception kept everyone on the dance floor, which is exactly what we wanted. As our MC he was perfect too. Everything he did was perfect, from making sure the Bride and I were doing good, to keeping the mood and atmosphere fun and energetic. The whole day he kept everything moving smoothly, and was even considerate of special requests made by family and friends on the spot. He definitely knows what he's doing as a DJ, and as an MC.I know Tim does this for a living, and I know he is a good DJ and MC....but I just didn't know he would be THAT good. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any event.

Choosing a DJ for our wedding I think was the 1 vendor we had no idea how to, what to, or where to even look. I was referred to Tim (Ideal Entertainment) by a friend of mine who has been to many of his functions. Upon our first meeting I was so impressed with his professionalism and knowledge regarding the many details to wedding planning. I felt so comfortable after our first meeting it had felt like I had known him my whole life. He helped me step by step with any questions I had, even ones not directly tied to music but other planning aspects to ensure our special day was that much better.I think we made him a little nervous because we like such a range of music that we couldn’t really tell him what we wanted to hear. We left the ball in his court to make it perfect. The ceremony went flawlessly and the reception had the perfect blend of music.After the wedding so many of our guests reached out to us to tell us how amazing the DJ was and how the music he played was so versatile to every age group that attended. It was such a great feeling to know that our guests were talking about the success of vendors and details that we spent so much time figuring out for our big day.Thank you Tim for making our night so perfect and memorableAlso, thank you for ensuring our little prank for the Groom went off without a glitch (way to Get Jiggy with It!!)

We hired Tim as the DJ for our wedding. We had no idea we would get so much more than DJ. I wish there was a way on this scale to rate him 6 out of 5. Tim is everything you expect of a 5 out of 5. In our first meeting, Tim had the right personality and was saying a lot of the right things (both musically and conceptually). We knew he was a little more expensive than some DJ's we interviewed, and cheaper than other 'factory' companies. We had to trust the fact that he would follow through with everything he said, and he would live up to the expectations for the price. Tim lived up to the expectations and much more! We were not the best clients. We asked him to meet us on short notice. We added last minute requests. We needed more equipment than we originally planned for and needed him to assist in other ways beyond that of the DJ. It was as if he knew we were going to do this and was prepared for each twist we threw at him. He told us initially he would be like a 'Day of Coordinator', and he turned out to be EXACTLY what we needed.I could probably articulate all the small (important) things he did to make our day perfect in a conversation much better than in a comment box. However, I can express our gratitude, and our fortune for trusting our instincts and hiring Tim. I will use this and any other forum (word of mouth, Facebook, Twitter, Etc.) to spread the word that Tim is an OUTSTANDING DJ with an OUTSTANDING personality and OUTSTANDING character. I would not be surprised to see his business turn into something much greater based on the values of what he has established.We can't say much more than HIRE Tim and find out for yourself. From our initial meeting with Tim, we immediately felt like there wasn't any reason to interview anymore DJ's. We left our first meeting at ease. We live in Bothell, WA, and our wedding was in Wenatchee, WA. We had our pick of DJ services in Wenatchee, but we made sure Tim would travel over the mountains to do ours. He not only provided us with information as far as the music portion of our wedding, he helped us with organization, provided tips on engaging the guests, ceremony flow recommendations, MC'ing, and how to draw guests onto the dance floor, and keep them there. Our dance floor was crammed from the beginning, and until after we left. Tim was worth every penny, and he made our entire wedding flow, not just the reception. I wouldn't pass him up!

Tim Humphrey is an amazing DJ! You MUST have him at your wedding or any other event :) At my wedding he went above and beyond! The music was perfect, he never played a song I didn't like. When he played a line dance song a guest requested he took the time to teach us the dance once he noticed only two guest knew it. I was amazed and thrilled with that! He also made sure my husband and I were able to eat and was wonderful with making announcements; they were fun and professional. During the planning sessions he had lots of helpful and great ideas. The ideas went from how to decorate, to how the flow of the room would be best, to letting us in on some secrets/details we hadn't even thought of! He is more then just a DJ, he is a friendly face, a person you can lean on, and even a wedding planner! If you don't have him at your wedding you are missing out :)

We'd like to take a few minutes to say a huge THANK YOU! We had a great time at our wedding. Tim your service is exceptional. You met with us prior in regards to our personalities and yours. Thanks for taking time to get to know us. We really appreciate the amazing music you personally fit to our style, guests and wedding flow. You went above playing music but you also assisted in the flow of the reception, your suggestions throughout the night, announcing the party and implementation was a success. We are overjoyed with how everything turned out and the music was GREAT! Hands down. All of our guest had an amazing time and we were so glad you were able to be apart of our wedding. Tim was awesome! So eager to help us with music and all other aspects of the wedding. He assisted me with a timeline and helped us cut our cake too :) Kept our guests entertained throughout the entire evening! So easy to get ahold of and very quick to respond to any questions I had. Would happily recommend him to any bride and groom :)

My sister had her big day this past weekend and Tim was hired to take care of the music for the ceremony, the lighting and the music for the reception and the best way i can think of summing it all up is WOW!!!! The reception was amazing!! He lit up the room with the coolest lighting i have ever seen and then threw the best wedding party i have ever been to. He was a perfect gentleman, professional in every way and I cant recommend him enough. If you need a perfect party for something, i suggest you look into Ideal Entertainment. 9/18/2010……Ideal Entertainment was awesome. Tim truly is an amazing DJ and Emcee. He was so easy to work with and I would happily recommend him to anyone without hesitation. He handled all of the audio and lighting for both the ceremony and reception. He encouraged us to meet a couple of times before the big day to ensure everything was the way we wanted while giving us great ideas about the timeline for the reception and the flow of the evening. Everything went so smoothly and both the wedding and reception were amazing and obvious that our guests had a lot of fun. His wide range of music was perfect for the old and young alike. He helped us stay on schedule and made all the important announcements when needed. I think what I liked most was that you only noticed Tim when you needed to. After meeting with only a couple other DJ’s I quickly realized that Tim was someone that was going to work well with us or anyone for that matter. He was an obvious fit and I know that he will be a great fit for any couple. Originally I was reluctant because Tim wanted to meet us before even talking about the cost but after our meeting Tim was willing to work with us to help meet our budget and was as competitive as any DJ out there. He’s easy going and reliable, two things that are a must on the wedding day. Overall I know I wouldn’t have found a better DJ for any cost and if you’re reading this do yourself a favor and call him; it will be well worth your time.

Working with Tim was fantastic! He was so helpful and accommodating. Not to mention, he was very patient with me when I was spacey bride. What blew us the way the most was how helpful he was the day of the wedding. Down to running the ceremony when we needed someone to step in. amazing!

Tim did an excellent job at our wedding. He was charasmatic, kept our guests entertained and definitely kept our wedding (ceremony and reception) running without a hitch! I was worried about the timing of the processional, when to walk, etc., however, he assumed the position of what a wedding planner would do and cued us on when to walk. Tim was very professional and flexible. Our first dance song was somewhat abstract and though it wasn't in his music library, he went ahead and got ahold of the song so we could have our perfect moment. I was very pleased with Tim as our wedding dj and would recommend him to all brides and grooms. Happy wedding planning:)

Tim is great. He was so professional and really fun, he made our wedding run seamlessly. In our planning he made sure we knew the answers to all the questions we needed, even when we didn't know we had questions. He was so organized before the event and the day of our wedding that we didn't have to think about anything and we were able to just enjoy the day. He made sure he got to know us beforehand and he tailored the event to match our needs and personality. Not only was he a great DJ, he gave us suggestions on where to purchase alcohol for the wedding and gave us a contact for the shuttle service we used, and the videographer as well.

I have had Tim DJ and Emcee several events for me and I have never been disappointed. He is fun and down to earth person but still maintains a professional attitude. Tim has a keen ability to read and work a crowd, which is important for any DJ/Emcee to have. Having someone who I know can show up and do a phenomenal job is so important and I can’t wait to work with him some more. I would highly recommend Tim for any DJ and Emcee needs that you might need.

This DJ is the best in the business. He made suggestions as to how to make the reception go smoother and helped me realize what would work and what wouldn't. He also suggested the perfect venue for our event as well as an amazing photographer! We told Tim that we wanted the night to be a big celebration with dancing and great music. He played the perfect selection of music during dinner and then got everyone out on the dance floor, even those few relatives that don't really like to dance. Originally I didn't want to do the bouquet toss and garter toss, but Tim described a way that it would be tasteful and humorous without being the same old thing. Everyone loved it! I've been to a couple of friends' weddings that he's done and they have been fabulous. He's catered perfectly to their needs and desires. We had so much fun at our wedding that we begged the venue to extend for another hour. Best night of my life!

Tim,I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful job you did at my daughter's wedding. I couldn't have imagined it going any better. Thank you for your part in helping the entire wedding come together without any incident. It flowed so consistently and every time I thought I might need to be doing something you were already taking care of it. From guiding us through the details on the beginning to walking us through the events of the day you were so helpful. You even got my cousin out on the dance floor.
