Erin is AMAZING! I actually found her here on weddingwire, and after talking to several planners, went with her. Best decision I ever made!! She helped me plan and coordinate my wedding start to finish, from developing a budget and timeline, all the way to cleaning up after the reception and bringing things back to my house. Unlike a lot of brides that come in with a "vision," I didn't have a clue of what I wanted when I hired Erin! She helped me so much with deciding on what kind of wedding I wanted, what styles I liked, finding a venue, finding vendors, etc. She has great taste and knows so much about everything that goes into a wedding, and she had some really creative ideas, but she was also really good at figuring out my style and what I liked and didn't like. Several of my friends told me afterwards that my wedding was "so me"! Erin was also amazing on the day of the actual wedding; she was rearranging tables, tying down flower arrangements due to gusty winds, guiding guests, keeping the vendors on schedule, lining up the wedding party, etc. - and I was blissfully unaware of it all! Multiple family and friends remarked on how calm and organized I seemed - that was because Erin was taking care of it all! I just can't say enough good things about her, both as a wedding planner and as a person. Her fee was BY FAR the best money I spent on my wedding!! You will not regret working with her!

Atlanta will certainly miss Erin, but Atlanta's loss is Seattle's gain. Using Erin as our event coordinator was the single best decision we made, and the money was well spent. She helped us with everything we could have imagined and then some, and made sure everything went smoothly leading up to and on the big day. My wife is extremely detail-oriented, and Erin stayed on top of everything with ease, and was exceedingly patient and accessible for even the most nit-picky questions and concerns. She is personable and professional, and made sure the big day went off without a problem. We were free to enjoy the moments with each other and our friends and family, instead of worrying whether the DJ was set up, if the room was the right temperature, or if the wedding party would walk out at the right moment. Of all the decisions we made, our best decision was selecting Erin as our wedding coordinator. Erin is extremely organized and professional which made the planning process fun and easy. She asks all the right questions, offers her sincere and honest opinion if you ask, covers all the bases (and then some!), and is readily available at all times. Erin is hands down the best wedding planner EVER and I would without a doubt recommend her to anyone I know. Erin's awesome - she's prompt, responsive, flexible, and professional. When we first approached Erin several months before our wedding, we told her that we wanted to have a modern art gallery meets carnival wedding - from that alone, it sounds like it could have been a disaster. But Erin not only listened to us, but made it effortless and seemless. She was always on top of coordinating with our vendors, making sure that linens, decor, music, lights, pretty much anything was taken care of. If a vendor didn't respond, Erin was on top of it, calling and emailing, and updating us on the status of things. I knew I could completely lean on Erin, and that she was never more than a phone call or email away. Considering that we had over 15 different vendors to work with, and that no one noticed a single hiccup the day of the wedding just goes to show how efficient and smoothly she works. Our wedding would not have been what it was without her. She put our minds at ease so we could concentrate on the people and the wedding itself instead of any of the small things. I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend Erin, and think she was the best investment we made.

Erin is absolutely fabulous. My husband and I utilized her day-of-coordination services and do not know or even want to think about what we would have done without her! She is incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and above all experienced. She gave us great recommendations on scheduling, timing, and layout and coordinated all the final details with our vendors. It's obvious that she is well-respected among vendors and for very good reason. We had a lot of personal details to incorporate, and Erin never showed any trepidation.... even after we dropped off several boxes at her house. She truly took the time to understand our vision and executed our design plans flawlessly on the day of the wedding. I really did not have a single thing to do on the wedding day besides show up. All of our details were set-up, our vendors were on track, and we were right on schedule all day- even a head of schedule a few times. She truly goes above and beyond and even downloaded our first song and several other requested songs on her iphone when she realized that our band wasn't prepared. We would have never known if she hadn't told us later! We cannot thank Erin enough for helping us execute our perfect wedding and for enabling us to truly enjoy our big day. Erin was instrumental in the planning and execution of our wedding. We could not be more delighted that we chose her to be our planner. About 10 months out from our wedding date, I took the liberty (against my fiance's wishes) to interview some wedding planners. We are New Yorkers and were getting married in Atlanta, and the daunting task of planning a wedding remotely in between my 17 hour work days was a bit overwhelming. After interviewing several planners over the phone and via email, Erin instantly captured my attention and peaked my interest. She was very friendly, pleasant, down to earth and I sensed she really enjoyed her job (passion makes all of the difference). I booked with her immediately. She was responsive to emails and phone calls at all times. She adapts quickly to whichever form of communication works best for you. I am a big email-er but closer to the wedding I called her about 4x a day everyday for about a week. She took/returned my call every single time within the hour. She also told me I was one of her least stressed out brides, if that is any indication to you of how much she can handle at the same time and totally keep her cool. She's incredibly organized and is very a tuned to details of the wedding that unbeknownst to me were crucial in a seamless execution. I have to admit, that I was a bit skeptical as to the concept of wedding planners in general as I saw it as an event coordinator potentially giving you more reason to spend more money. I clearly recognized the value of day of wedding coordination, but was not certain that I needed to employ her for services leading up. I deeply underestimated and misunderstood the value of a wedding planner and am extraordinarily happy that I contracted Erin out of sheer desperation so early into the process. I couldn't have been more incorrect as to the planning involved and the knowledge and resources that her services provide. I was humbled by Erin's attention to detail and real understanding of how to execute a perfect wedding. Not only day of (everything went perfectly!) but her involvement in the 10 months leading up to the wedding made all of the difference. Erin is an incredible resource for recommendations, we found our amazing florist and my hair and makeup artist through her, moreover, she worked closely with all of them from the very beginning. She has relationships with many vendors and will tell you her experience with each and every one of them. This inside knowledge is critical. As the bride, you are dealing with vendors once, and you really can only go on your gut as to whether or not you are comfortable contracting them. Her past experiences proved valuable on several occasions for us. She found holes in my "master plan" for the wedding from day one that would have gone unnoticed until day of when it's too late. She was incredibly mindful of our budget and looked for all possible opportunities to help reduce our cost basis. She sent me to do lists whenever I asked the status of what I had to do/or what was left to do. She participated on every conference call with vendors we asked her to be on, she conducted her own calls on our behalf and she seamlessly coordinated with my now husband on all the details he handled. The bottom line: I recommend Erin without hesitation. Call her and book her long before your wedding date, it is well worth adjusting your budget for a wedding planner. The caliber of expertise will prove immeasurable. Utilize her expertise, resources and organizational skills. It will make all of the difference and allow you to enjoy every second of your day. My wedding day was beyond my wildest dreams thanks to Erin! She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was everything we wanted and more. I don't know if we could have pulled it off without Erin's attentiveness to details and event planning knowledge. I had a rambling plan- with no clue how to bring it together. Erin did though! Even once the blur of the reception started, Erin was right there with anything and everything I needed before I even had to ask. To top it all off she is so sweet and nice to work with! I highly recommend Its All in the Details to every bride!

Hiring Erin was the best decision I made aside from, of course, deciding to marry my now-husband :) I hired Erin for day-of coordination and I feel like she went above and beyond expectations to make our wedding day run smoothly. I would highly recommend her services to anyone! Our situation was a little crazy because due to schedules we only had 4 months to plan our wedding! We were trying to keep it small and I thought I could do the job myself. As it turns out, planning a wedding can be really overwhelming, especially since I didn't have any experience with the process. I met with another planner before I found Erin and we did not "click". I felt like she wasn't listening to what I wanted and pushing her decisions on me. Then my mom came across Erin's website and I decided to give her a call. I talked to her on the phone a few times before we met and she was always very nice, quick to return calls and follow-up on the things we spoke about. She asked me questions about what I wanted that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. She wasn't pushy at all and she respected my wishes. I really didn't know much about weddings or what goes into planning one...it's A LOT! She really kept me on track and focused. During our meetings, Erin was very helpful and guided me through the planning process. She kept notes on just about everything, which was really helpful because I wasn't nearly as organized. Erin made really helpful suggestions to stay within my budget and I really valued her input. She made phone calls, put in orders, checked on food, flowers, photography...she was a life-saver! On the day of the wedding, our venue manager tried to move up the time we had to be out of there. Erin was totally professional but firm in dealing with her, and I only found out about this at a later time. It was awesome knowing I had someone in my corner dealing with these types of things so I could enjoy the day. I think Erin is made for this job. She is very well organized, punctual, she can get things done, and very professional. I trusted her completely and should I ever need to plan another major event, she will be the one I call. She is totally worth it, and you will be thanking yourself later!

I am so pleased with our decision to use Erin and It's All in the Details for our wedding. We thought we would be able to handle everything ourselves but quickly realized that we needed the help of a professional. We met with several different vendors but Erin was the perfect match for us. From the very first meeting, we were immedialy at ease regarding our wedding. Erin did much more than we could have ever expected, from scheduling our meetings with vendors, reviewing contracts, providing great ideas, etc. The list is too long to describe. Her professionalism was only matched by her attitude and she could not have made things any easier for us. The day of the wedding, she made sure everything went off without any problems, breaks, or even slow moments. Her ability to work the timeline perfectly allowed us and our guests to have a purely enjoyable time. The morning of our wedding, we needed to make some last minute adjustments for weather. When I went to make the call, I noticed I had already missed one from her. She stays on top of every detail and allows you to really take in the moment. I would recomend her service to anyone and know that it was the best decision we made while planning the wedding. She is not just a vendor, but a friend. Erin is a wonderful person who loves her job! She is so detail-oriented and kept everything on track for more than a year as we planned the wedding. I had no idea where to start and was frequently overwhelmed with the entire process. Erin was always there to calm me down - always positive - and remind me that everything would turn out beautifully. She was supportive any time I changed my mind and never made me feel bad. She let me explore different options in my own way and never tried to steer me in a direction that I wasn't already expressing interest in. Erin is very good at her job in planning and managing events. But, more so, she is extremely good with people. She's perceptive and knows just the right way to deal with different personalities. If you really need someone to lean on during your wedding planning process, It's All In The Details is definitely the place you need to go!

Erin was such a delight to work with! She handled everything in such a professional, straightforward, and genuine manner - her attention to detail is impeccable! She always had a smile on her face and her calming nature immediately put my mind at ease. Erin went above and beyond her duties and even helped us out with additional duties. I first met Erin in June 08 after i found her on craigslist. I was looking for a DOC and planner, who could help me with planning a wedding in Atlanta from Wisconsin. After email and a phone call, We met Erin in person at a cafe at Emory village and she impressed me almost immediately. She was very friendly, personable and upfront on what to expect with her services. Through out the planning process, Erin stayed in touch with me, was organized, responded to emails promptly and met with me each time i was in Atlanta. She offered suggestions, recommended vendors and was very thorough with setting up a timeline for the wedding day. For our wedding rehearsals Erin run entire thing very competently. On our wedding day, she was fantastic and exceptional! Because there was rain in the forecast, she had a rain backup plan ready with our ceremony being outdoors and we ended up using this plan. She coordinated all the set up and decorations for the wedding and brought my vision to light. She was also responsible for vendor check in and tackled all the last minute 'problems' (and there were a few) that day efficiently. At one point when she we couldnt get the music started for the ceremony she was ready to download the songs from itunes onto the iphone for the DJ! I was floored by her willingness to do everything in her power to make my day go smoothly. We are extremely happy with the service we received from her and would highly recommend her.

We hired Erin to mainly handle the day of the wedding details and are so glad we did. We were in the middle of the 2009 Atlanta floods and needed a rain back up plan since we were getting married outside at the Botannical Gardens. Erin was on top of the weather forecast and was very patient in dealing with an indecisive bride on the tent rentals. Erin is the wedding planning guru when it comes to ceremony details -- it's INCREDIBLY helpful to have a 3rd party, expert opinion when you are trying to make decision after decision. Erin is professional, flexible, honest, organized, accountable and worth every penny.

Erin of It's all in the Details was AMAZING! The first time that I met with Erin I was so impressed. She is very friendly and professional. Erin Stroup, of "it's all in the details," was an essential part of my wedding day. I really do not think anything would have run as smooth without her. Being a bride on a very strict budget, I had to do everything myself. Not until the month before the wedding did I realize that I needed help. Erin came highly recommended with lots of praise though several sources. I thought I should meet her and see what she had to say. Well, we immediately hit it off. Before I knew it so much of my stress had been lifted. She planned the procession and was key in Keeping the flow of the wedding and the reception. Erin was awesome! My husband and I were really stressed out about coordinating all the little details, especially since we were planning a wedding long distance. But Erin put us at ease with planning our wedding. She talked with me over the phone many times, gave suggestions of florists etc.., met with my mother at the reception site several times to go over the layout, met with the rental company, managed the catering at our reception, and more. Erin was flexible, organized, accommodating and fun. She was there to help anyway she could.
