Jen's Desserts

Jen worked with us to create our own unique wedding cake. It looked beautiful and tasted delicious. She also made us some wonderful cookies for favors!!

Our cake was absolutely delicious! It was sooo yummy! Jen did an amazing job at helping us to come up with unique flavors that went with our colors and theme and that everyone loved. The day of our wedding was quite warm and it was a outdoor wedding. Due to this the cake was not decorated in the way we had discussed. We had planned for a fairly simple design with bands around the bottom of each layer and one large sugar flower. The flower was a bit smaller than I expected and the bands were missing, the bottom of each layer looked very unfinished. It looked great from a distance, but not as expected from up close. None the less we loved her and her cake and I would still use her again!

Jen bakes the best wedding cakes ever!!! Seriously - everyone agreed - and she was super-helpful, even accommodated my crazy requests for extra elaborate pastry decorations.

Jen understands the need to use quality and often organic ingredients. We had a three-tiered square cake of carrot, chocolate and whole raspberry in white cake. All were very good. She took to the time to sit with us and hash out a design complete with scroll work and edible ribbon.She doesn't take on too many clients at once so you know you are going to get everything the way you want it. Highly recommend.
