Lake Union Cafe

I can't say enough good things about Lake Union Cafe. Victoria and Dann made getting married easy! They were super easy to work with an answered my 290469304986 questions. The venue is warm and inviting. It has a fabulous 1920's vibe to it. We held our ceremony and reception here and both were fabulous. LUC was very communicative and fairly priced. There is ample room to get ready downstairs in the seperate bridal/groom "suites." They allow you to bring your own alcohol, which saved us TONS of money. They took care of every detail, start to finish. Our wedding was flawless! Victoria helped us order apples as part of our decorations and Dann helped repair my disasterous bridal bouquet (it was heinous!) without batting an eye. I felt like I was in fabulous hands from planning until the reception. Not to mention the food was FABULOUS! We had the bbq pork shanks and mushroom ravioli, among other things and our guests RAVED!! We also used their in-house bakery for our wedding cake/cupcakes. They were delicious and totally willing to do any flavor we dreamed up! We are thrilled about our choice to use LUC for our wedding!

We just had our September 2011 wedding at Lake Union Cafe and it was everything I could ever dream of and more! Not only are Dann and Victoria tremendous help the whole time of planning (any question you have or any help you need, they are there), but day of ---- they were AMAZING! We didn't have to worry about a thing, it was stress free - they didn't miss a beat. The venue is absolutely breathtaking -- its so romantic, you really dont need to do a lot of decorating as it is so beautiful in itself, anything you add is an added bonus. The food was to die for. We have received compliment after compliment on our wedding and the food keeps coming up in coversation. I do not have a single complaint on the place, if I were to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a single thing. We love LUC and are happy to recommend it to anyone, its a hidden Gem in Seattle and I loved that we found it !!!!!

We loved working with Dan and Victoria. They were an essential part of our wedding's success. The food was so good too. We only heard good things from our guests about our venue and the food.

I don't know where to start. I guess first off - Victoria and Dann are seriously the most helpful people EVER!! I would email them random questions whenever they popped in to my mind, and i would get an answer within an hour! The place itself is beautiful, just a great location for a reception. They helped with everything, and this is how great they are - when we met with them to go over the menu, they actually convinced my mother that she didn't need to order more food (which would have cost us more money) - even though it would have benefited them. People came up to me and told me how their food was the best wedding food that they've had - and i can vouch for that as they packed up some food for us to bring to the hotel with us when we left!! And seriously, Dann took care of us the day of the wedding - he was grabbing us drinks and making sure we were okay!I Love them, love them, love them.

Lake Union Cafe, has great food and great staff together that made my wedding great! if you live in the Washington area you should give them a try!

All of the staff at Lake Union Cafe was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional from the day I first checked out the venue with one of my bridesmaids. I cannot praise and recommend them enough!! The facility itself is gorgeously stylish and didn't require much decoration, the food was delicious and enjoyed by all, the day of coordinator (Dann) was AMAZING and took care of everyone (not just the bride and groom) with humor and efficiency. They really give you a great value for your money as well, with discounts for off-peak days and seasons (like my wedding on a Friday in February). We received numerous comments and compliments on our choice of venue by our guests, and everyone in the family and wedding party was very impressed with the staff, especially Dann. My husband and I are HUGE fans of the Lake Union Cafe and are so incredibly happy with the way our wedding turned out, thanks in large part to our choice in venue.

I couldn't have asked for a better day from Lake Union Cafe. The venue was so beautiful and it fit my wedding to a tee. Dann and Victoria were so great to have, willing to take on all the little details. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were setting things up and telling me where to be during the ceremony and the reception. Victoria is very organized, friendly, and she'll tell you exactly what you need to know about each detail you've been rolling over in your head for the last year. My wedding was perfect because of them.
