Finding Melody was an absolute blessing! By far our best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. I honestly don't know how we could have done it without her. She was so easy to talk to and really listened to what we wanted for our special day. She went to extreme lengths to make sure our wedding day was everything we had envisioned. We initially hired Melody as a day of coordinator. She by far exceeded our expectations as a "day of" planner. We are still getting complements on how well put together our wedding was. Everyone was so impressed with how smoothly the day went, and how organized everything was. We are so grateful for everything that Melody did for us...we are forever indebted.

Our wedding celebration would not have been nearly as special without Melody Davis of MG Davis Events. She guided us through every step of our planning with ease and professionalism. Planning an eventof any kind is overwhelming for most of us. But, Mel didn't miss a beat. She helped us keep track of every detail. When we felt swamped, she helped us sort our "to do" tasks into workable lists with a timeline to guide us. She always had her eye on the bigger picture. Above all, Mel helped us create a celebration that was absolutely "us." She brought many of our ideas to life and helped us rethink and recreate some of our loftier plans to make them more practical or affordable. And she has SO many vendor contacts; we never had to wonder where to find anything, because mel "had a guy." The day was over in the blink of an eye, but my husband and I will always remember it as one of the most magical, intimate and love-filled days of our lives, thanks to Melody's sparkle and a lot of her hard work.

Choosing to work with MG Davis Events was absolutely the best decision that I could have made in planning our wedding. I was planning long distance, so communication was very important. Melody was always available whenever I needed her, she made it a priority to meet when I was in town, and she was always full of brilliant ideas! Her experience and knowledge of the industry are excellent. Her amazing flexibility and vision can literally make ANY space work! Not only was she an expert in the design and planning, but she was an amazingly calm and positive presence in a time of stress! She was proactive in keeping our timeline on track and was constantly coming up with creative and beautiful ideas on how to make our wedding day unique, infused with our very own style and personality. Melody was an absolute joy to work with. When working with her you will feel like you are planning your wedding with a good friend. She cares about you as a bride,she listens to you, and makes sure your ideas and opinions are heard. I cannot say enough good things about Melody and MG Davis Events!

Melody created the most amazing wedding day you could imagine for me! I felt like she knew exactly what I wanted. She suggested creative twists on standard things that really put my wedding over the top. It was great having someone listen to what I wanted in my wedding instead of having the exact same wedding as everyone else. I'm sure all of my guests would agree with me, it was an unforgettable celebration!

Melody was so great to work with. Having an event planning background myself, we were really looking for someone to takeover the day of my sister's wedding so that I would be able to have fun and not worry about all the little details. Melody took care of that for us and I trusted her with everything. She is very professional, very easy to work with, very flexible with scheduling and very, very patient. She also suggested new ideas and better alternatives in areas that we needed help. She has a calming sense about her that put my sister, my mother and myself at ease. I would definitely recommend her for all your wedding planning needs.

Planning a destination wedding for 120 was daunting until we hired Melody. She planned the perfect celebration without overlooking one single detail. We chose a rustic location situated 50 miles from the nearest town. The venue only provided lodging, so she had to truck in every aspect of the wedding: caterers, rentals, decoration, and entertainment. It was a logistical challenge, but she handled everything with perfection and grace. Everyone had a wonderful time and continues to thank us for providing such a relaxed and enjoyable weekend getaway. It was everything we could have dreamed of.
