Silverwater Cafe

Silverwater Cafe hosted the reception, made the wedding cake, and was our caterer. We will start off with the cake which was absolutely fabulous. Every comnplimented the way it looked and David did an excellent job making it look good with the flowers our florist provided. It was also one of the best cakes our guests ever had if we are to believe them. I am pretty inclined to as there was a long line of people who wanted to take extra home at the end of the night. As for the reception venue it was wonderful. It was quite and being on the third floor we didnt have to worry about bothering anyone else. They did an excellent job with the set up and working with us. They provided a list of everyting that was provided up front and at what cost. We never had to worry about any hidden fees. Any wild ideas we had we could contact them and they got back to us quickly and worked with us to help it turn out just like we wanted it to. Their staff was great. Extremely professional and hardworking. As for the catering it was top notch. When we were stuck on the other side of an open hood canal bridge we made a quick call and they easily pushed dinner service back. We saw quite a few of our guests going through the buffet line a second and in a couple rare instances, a third time. Their salmon was excellent and the tri-tip was one of the best I ever had. I noticed that when they collected up plates everyones was empty. I highly recommend the Silverwater for wedding cakes, reception site, and catering.

This is the source of my wedding cake that (not trying to brag) was AMAZING. The chef (David) is truly an artist. He does not waist time with the cakes who's sole attribute is decoration; His first focus is taste! At request, he made us a red-velvet cake with butter cream frosting that was white chocolate flavored. Even when I threw him a curveball by requesting an oddly shaped cake, he still pulled it off and made it look elegant, beautiful, and yummy! He was professional, prompt, and wonderful to work with. Even if you don't think you'll choose him for your wedding vendor, I HIGHLY suggest a weekend visit to this restaurant just to try his food!

Alison was incredible at meeting our every need, working with our ever expanding guest list and the quality of the food was INCREDIBLE> We used their facility and They used their owns and some themed decorations I provided. We have beautiful photos from our wedding and people have said it was the best they ever had at any wedding. Fantastic. If you're getting married on the Olympic Pennisula I highly recomend using the Silvewater Cafe!
