Several months before my wedding, I realized that I was going to need some help getting things done, since the majority of both of our families live out of state. I received a very quick response to my initial inquiry from Karen and we set up a meeting. Other than a few meetings, emails, and phone calls, we really didn't need to have a lot of contact, which definitely kept my stress-level to a minimum! Karen had wonderful ideas about the things I wanted for the wedding, and I trusted her to make those ideas a reality. We had a last-minute change of rehearsal location, and Karen had no problem coming up with an alternate location and making it happen. The day of the wedding, after getting ready all morning and getting to the venue, I arrived to find everything in perfect order...and it waws GORGEOUS!! The ceremony site, the reception hall, the bouquets/centerpieces, EVERYTHING was absolutely beautiful and even more than I could have dreamed of for my wedding. Karen has amazing vision and I would recommend her and her team to ALL brides. Even if you don't think you need a wedding planner/coordinator, believe me, Studio G is worth the phone call!!! Our families had hardly any money to spend on a little wedding but Studio G Occasions made it the whole thing more beautiful than we could have imagined! I have pictures to prove that they can make even a simple wedding elegant and gorgeous! When I walked out to the lovely area where my son was to be married, I really got misty eyed. It was so much more beautiful than I could have asked for!I went to another wedding done by Studio G Occasions soon after, that was a huge, grand affair with a completely different theme and colors and an equally beautiful setting! I was highly impressed! My kids talk about having another wedding ceremony some day when they can afford to spend more money. Though its my opinion that its not necessary because theirs was the most gorgeous wedding I've ever seen, if they do, it's a sure thing that we will call Studio G again!Thank you Studio G Occasions!!

When my daughter and I started to plan her wedding I was convinced that the last thing I would hire was a wedding planner. I have experience putting on fundraising events and entertaining so I know what goes into planning a party. However, as I began to look at my daughter’s wedding day and the role I would play as Mother of the Bride and hostess I realized I couldn’t be everywhere I needed to be to make sure all ran smoothly. I also realized that I wanted to embrace the joy of the occasion and not be worn down by the stress of all the details. My daughter contacted Studio-G-Occasions and after meeting Karen and telling her of our needs we hired her for our “day of” wedding planner. Later we also hired her to do the reception flowers.As a wedding planner Karen is very easy to work with, communicates well, is organized, reliable, punctual, and has good problem solving skills. She has a good working relationship and is respected by area vendors. She was present to give instructions and suggestions at the rehearsal and was on site all day at the wedding until the reception was cleaned up at 10 pm. The wedding was held at the church in Port Gamble with the reception following at the Pavilion, so Karen worked between several different locations. The floral arrangements she did for the reception were spectacular. She really understood the look that we wanted for the wedding and made centerpieces for each of the 18 tables a little different. She also created a beautiful candlescape to light the outside of the reception venue. It all made for a complicated set-up and tear down but Karen and her assistant Diane did it all. When the flower on my husband’s boutonniere broke (which was supplied by a different floral vendor) Karen was even able to repair it! Perhaps most importantly, she worked within our budget.Hiring Studio-G-Occasions as a wedding planner and florist was the best decision I made. My husband and I were able to enjoy our family and friends and celebrate this very special day. Our daughter exclaimed that her “wedding day was everything she had dreamed it would be!” for us that was priceless.

Karen was great! She did exactly what I wanted and helped make my wedding day wonderful! The only catch was that neither of us planned the break-down/clean-up part of the day in much detail, so it was a bit bumpy at that point. But it all worked out in the end. She did a wonderful job coordinating the day and it was beautiful.

I just had my wedding on November 7, 2009 and I must say, it was so much more than I envisioned. Karen did my flowers and decor for the ceremony and reception and they were outstanding! I was one of those "last minute" brides and procrastinated on a few details but Karen was right there to help me get things done. My cake vendor was a disaster but Karen found other alternative bakers for me and my cake was beautiful! Karen's prices are very reasonable and she is willing to work with any type of budget. I would definitely recommend Studio G Occasions to brides planning a wedding. I didnt have to worry about a thing and enjoyed every moment of my wedding.

Karen is Great and so is her staff. They were there for everything and did an amazing job of keeping everything in order and, so non-stressfull for the whole family.Everyone was informed of every thing that was going on in the order of the day. It was well worth the money spent for her services. I would defenintly tell my friends about her. And she knew of all the best people to help with flowers, (her flowers were amazing) cake, venue, etc.

Karen was amazing. From my first email of inquiry through the wedding party and clean up she was always there for us and for whatever we needed.She is responsive, has great ideas, will work with you in whatever way you need her and she remains calm, easy, thorough; everything you would want and need in a wedding planner. One important piece is that she lets you be you; she has ideas and if they work for you great, but she really gives you space and support to have it be your wedding. If there is one thing I absolutely would recommend it is to have a wedding planner and have it be Karen. It is so worth it and will make your day what it should be, a day that you and your spouse and all of the guests will enjoy and remember.

Karen was great to work with, supportive, informative, and resourceful. She had answers for all my important questions in addition to showing me where I could find other answers. On the actual wedding day, she made me feel confident that there was nothing for me to worry about and did beautifully with what she was given to work with.

Karen is an absolute dynamo. My husband and I run a commercial construction company and have our hands full all of the time. Karen was flexible in meeting our needs and was better at anticipating them than I was. Initially, we thought that we mainly needed help in setting up the reception. We were going to have a large wedding (250+) and could not find a reception venue. Karen found us a reception place that was well below the cost of any other we were looking at, leaving us with a budget to really personalize the decor (with Karen's help and expertise). By the end of it, Karen ended up designing our invitations, sending them out, designing the flowers, coordinating our vendors, and in general running a smooth wedding. Our wedding day was completely flawless and I know this is due to Karen and her team. They were cohesive and made sure that nothing went wrong. From Karen's emergency kit (from which I needed a tampon!) to her running out to get cake boxes for the guests to take the leftover cakes home, she could not have done a more amazing job. My husband and I were recently at a friends' wedding who also had a wedding planner and we were shocked at some of the things that she didn't catch that Karen absolutely would have. It really showed us even more so what a flawless job she did. I truly feel like Karen was a part of the wedding and know that we could not have done it without her.

We hired Karen one week before our wedding to coordinate our special day. She was incredibly flexible and helpful on such short notice. On the day of our wedding, my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing, and we were able to enjoy our day to the fullest. It rained for our outdoor picnic wedding and Karen came prepared with colorful umbrellas that made our wedding pictures a smash! Karen's initiative and experience in wedding coordination really came through as she took care of all the unexpected circumstances that popped up that day. We are so thankful for Karen because she gave us the best wedding present of all - a stress free, enjoyable wedding!

The wonderful women at Studio G Occassions made my wedding a huge success! Karen and MerriAnn are very easy to work with, full of ideas, and open to any suggestions. The professionalism, organization, preparedness, and attention to detail created an environment for the perfect wedding. I would highly recommend using this company to create the perfect event!

She did a really great job at helping us organize everything, pick out colors, all the stressful stuff. She was so professional and kind, and it was a pleasure to work with Karen.

Looking back, I couldn't have pulled this off without Studio G. My husband and I still hear regularly "it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to"! I have to agree. I told the gals what "feeling" I was going for and they did the rest... down to the finest detail. They were just pefect and I recommend them 100%!!!
