The Michael Benson Band

We LOVED Michael Benson! Everyone danced all night long and the band totally made the reception, most fun a lot of my attendees have ever had at a wedding- thanks to Michael Benson! Can't wait to have another party with them playing!!!

AMAZING! everyone is still talking about how awesome this band was. Michael was a dream to work with. i wasnt the slightest bit worried about anything with them. During his breaks he would come find me to make sure the band was playing what we wanted to hear. i cant say enough great things about this band. They are so good our friends booked them the very next day for their wedding next year.

Having a live band is key at a reception. All of our guests were so impressed with the band and had a great time dancing. When we look back on our wedding day, we always think of the band and how entertaining they are. They are pricey but your wedding comes down to entertainment for your guests. If you have good entertainment, your wedding will be remembered by all.

We knew from day one we would hire a live band, there was no question about it. We searched websites after website and listened to sound bites after sound bites - - And then we found the Michael Benson Band - - These dudes are seriously amazing. Their talent crosses every genre of music. Our reception was a little bit of Oldies, Sambas, Blues, to Eminem, Madonna, and JT. Guests didn’t have a choice to sit – and they haven’t stopped talking about how wonderful the music was throughout the evening. We also had specific music we wanted to walk down the aisle to – no problems there,the MBB learned our requested songs and everything went off without a hitch. Thank you so much to the MBB, you guys literally ROCK!

The Michael Benson Band MADE THE NIGHT!These guys are amazing. They are not cheap--we paid $3,300 for the 5-piece band, but people are still talking about how great they were. They'll emcee your whole night, learn songs you request, and they are great at reading the crowd and keeping people dancing. One thing to note is that we communicated totally via email. I didn't actual meet them before the wedding day. This is their standard procedure. However, they are totally helpful and available via email and phone.

I saw the Michael Benson Band at a friend's wedding about 8 years ago... and when we started planning our wedding, this was one of the first vendors we made sure to get! They are remarkable! They have a huge playlist with both old and new favorites. They are great at feeling the mood of the crowd, and adjusting their songs to keep the dancing going! Our dance floor was packed from start to finish, and our guests keep raving about our band. They made it the party we always wanted to have for our wedding!

These guys have a reputation in Seattle they most certainly deserve! They made our wedding! They stuck to the songs we picked out of their 12 page song list but added some other favorites, including Lady Gaga "Just Dance"! Michael also learned new music for our ceremony and did piano with my cousins who sang Natalie Coles "Everlasting Love" as our recessional! They asked about the volume, song choices, etc. throughout the night and were a HUGE hit with all generations. They kept the party going until the very end! They were fun, energetic, so easy to work with and VERY responsive via email prior to the big day, and just AMAZED us and our guests. We want to have an anniversary party next year just so we can have them play again!
